Seattle Trip
I love our yearly tradition of going up to Seattle to visit my aunt and uncle. They are Seattle Mariners fans and we are Oakland A's
fans, so the game is always on the agenda, but we have such a good time when we visit. Drinking wine, watching ball games, heckling each other, dance parties in the living room and laughing a whole lot. Last year we went without the kids and had a romantic anniversary weekend. We had brunch at the Salish Lodge and it was lovely. This year, I would love to get up there with the boys. This tradition is one I want to continue...forever! And of course, Go A's!

The Grand Canyon
The family we spend most of our time with in Germany loves the Grand Canyon, Salt Lake City and the likes. I have never been to the Grand Canyon, Salt Lake, or any places in that region. Conn says the Grand Canyon is AMAZING and he has about 200 photos to prove his fascination. I admit that I have made fun of these many photos because to me they all look pretty much the same.
So, we must get to the Grand Canyon. It must be amazing! I would like to add Salt Lake City to the list as well.
Are you ready?
Are you sure?
I think yes!

The Masters
On my husband’s bucket list, Augusta Georgia. I suppose the boys and I would be invited to go too, but Conn really wants to go. Why is Augusta so exciting you ask? Conn wants to see, up close and personal, the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia. Tickets must be purchased way in advance and I am sure it is a crowded event, but what a fun way to spend a few Spring days. I love the smell of freshly cut grass, the hush of the crowd and I have never been to Georgia. In fact, there are a few other places I would like to visit in Georgia as well, but I will leave that to another day. My grandfather LOVES golf as well and this time of year our whole family is all about the game. One day we will be sure to plan ahead and make it to Augusta. We even have some golf knickers we could sport while we are there. Till then, we will have to play a little closer to home.
For me, Spring is daffodils, Easter candy and golf on TV. And if you happen to be watching this year, go Phil!
