Pie, Yes Please

I saw this post on  You Are My Fave about Pie Ranch.  This place is in Pescadero, which is still within driving distance of us so it is totally a must!  Pie Ranch, I mean come on, my husband likes pie more than anything else in the world.  We must make a trip!  Yum!  In the meantime, I have been dreaming about pie, cobbler, crumble, pretty much anything with fresh berries.  Oh Yum!

Bocce

We started playing bocce about 3 years ago.  I was pregnant with KJ and we have continued to play every week through the summer and fall.  We love it!  I like to say it is the only sport where I can eat, drink, socialize and play all at once.  Perfect!

So, there are a few places around the Bay Area that have peaked my interest.  One is Bar Bocce in Sausalito.  I have heard it is small and probably not a place for kids, but it sounds fun.  The other place is Campo di Bocce in Livermore.

Cool!  And as we say every Wednesday night "That's how we roll."

In Glen Ellen

We literally live about 5 minutes from downtown Glen Ellen, but we definitely don't spend enough time there.  The restaurants are a bit fancier and taking and 3 and 1 year old is not really, how shall I say, well it is probably frowned upon.  But, I would like to try the Fig Cafe and the Glen Ellen Inn Cafe one day.  And there is a Nepalese restaurant that looks awesome also, Yeti.  It gets rave reviews.  So, we will add these to the date night list for now...or retirement.  Ha!
